Welcome to my Online Yoga Class

In today’s modern time, Yoga is seen as an exercise you do for some time you can cure many health-related things. e.x. Yoga for Weight loss or gain, diabetes, stress buster etc. Some even go forth and challenge  30 days challenge etc. We all know Yoga’s roots start almost 4000 years. A very primary scripture in yoga Yoga Sutra says

yogaścittavṛttinirodhaḥ

Yoga is the control (nirodhah, regulation, channeling, mastery, integration, coordination, stilling, quieting, setting aside) of the modifications (gross and subtle thought patterns) of the mind field.

 According to Raja Yoga, the root cause of all suffering is the wandering mind. If we can master it everything comes into place. You do not have to separately worry about your health. Yoga is a system to purify the body, breath and mind.

Join me in this wonderful journey of Raja Yog; A holistic system by learning all eight-fold paths. In this class, we learn and explore different aspects of Yoga Dharshan and its practical applications. We learn Ashtanga vinyasa yoga as the Asana style and touch upon various other areas like ethics, cleansing, Pranayama, meditation, bandhas, etc.


The design of the class

We first start with an Orientation class so you get a good idea of what we going to do.

Then we start with Asanas. We use Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga as our style of practising Asanas. We also use other asanas to perfect our practice. All asanas are both beginner and Intermediate.  Do not lose hope imagining all those hard asanas on Facebook, Youtube and Instagram. Yoga is a self-practising form.

Classes are in two parts

  1. One-to-One – You learn a few asanas in the beginning one to one clarify doubts, understand postures
  2. Self-practice – as per the time discussed come online on zoom and practice yourself in your phase. You will be guided online.

Monthly two or three open sessions at weekends. this is optional to join. This will be a theory class we discuss many topics on our practice, improving them, philosophy etc.

Once we have come to a good level we will do Led Class every week.

How long is the period of the class?

There is no specific time for the period you can stay as much as you like and learn as much as you like.


Who can join?Yogasana

Anyone who likes to make Yoga a lifestyle. If you have heard about yoga and like to know more and reap the benefit and learn about its philosophy and deeper aspects then this is for you.

I am currently not taking this class for senior citizens as they need a different level of attention.

Beginners are welcome, all classes are one-to-one and you get asanas and adjustments based on your body permits. you slowly get strength and flexibility in the long run.

About me

Rajmahendra (Raj) is a Software engineer – Agile Lead/Coach by profession. He is a regular Yoga practitioner. He is an International Yoga Instructor (RYT-200). He is mostly into Vinyasa and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga – Mysore Style. He is also into Hatha, Restorative and Yin;  Pranayama, Meditation( Zen, Vipassana and Transcendental), and Taichi. Meditation  Pranayama, Dhinacharya. His regular practice into reading scriptures of Yoga, Vedanta, Ayurveda, Zero-waste, Minimalism and Whole-food plant-based.
